.HU Resilience Report Certificates

An overview of the certificates used by the dashboard sites.

Certification Authorities Certification Authorities that issued the
certificates for the sites that make this
dashboard. Excludes third-party certificates.
Validation Type Validation type used by for the
active certificates. Third-party
certificates are excluded from the
statistics.
Key Algorithms Distribution of key algorithms used
by the active certificates. Third-party
certificates are excluded from the
statistics.
Key Strength Distribution of private key strength used
by the active certificates. Both RSA and EC
key lengths are normalized to symmetric
encryption bits for comparison purposes.
For example, a 2048-bit RSA key provides
about 112 bits of security; a 256-bit EC
key provides about 128 bits of security.
Signature Algorithms Distribution of signature algorithms used
by the active certificates. Third-party
certificates are excluded from the statistics.
Validity This chart shows how many of the certificates
and valid and, for those that are not, the
failure reasons. Also excludes third-party
certificates.
